The 5th Generation successor of Late Ustad Kayangadi Papanna, Son of Dr K V Harish Babu. Successfully completed his MBBS in merit in Sri Devraj Urs Medical College Kolar in 2005. Did His post Graduation in ORTHOPAEDICS in the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore. Further has done his specialization in ‘Arthroscopy (Key hole Surgery) and Sports Medicine’ at HOSMAT hospital. Dr Praveen is presently Consultant at HOSMAT Hospital & Mallige Medical Center.

Today Dr Praveen Babu using the knowledge of ancient medicine learnt from his father and scientific knowledge acquired through academics has integrated Ayurvedic and Orthopaedic medicine to treat his patients knowing the advantages and disadvantages of both the lines of treatment.
